About Me

Lauren Piro is a mystery...wrapped in a riddle...inside an enigma. She thinks therefore she is. She is the apple of your eye. She is eggman. She is the walrus.

And also, she is a communication and journalism student just outside of Philadelphia (PS - officially post-grad May 2009, hire me!). Mag-obsessed, she is sure there is an editorial assistant's desk out there calling her name, (and she is kind of a new media junkie these days as well) but knows now more than ever that taking advantage of experiences outside your plan could be the best choices you never knew had. If there is one thing life has taught her, it is to be bold, and she completely intends to be.

Three things about Lauren you never thought were important to know:

1. Coconut is by far her least favorite food, and she will be forced to turn it down in any form, even that means being extremely, unabashedly rude.

2. She is inherently and completely afraid of Halloween hay rides.

3. She has a cookbook signed by Martha Stewart. And has eaten eggs from Martha's farm. And has just exaggerated the apparent first name basis they do (not) enjoy.

Okay a little more - she also loves pandas. And cooking. But who doesn't?
